The AWS Group, based in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, is pleased to welcome Cemgraft Electronic Manufacturing Ltd into its fold.

Over the past year we have analysed the position within the market of AWS and Cemgraft, and concluded that joining the two companies together would enable us better serve our clients. The purpose of this acquisition is to extend the range of services and technologies that Cemgraft can offer you, particularly in relation to diverse assembly (SMT, PTH, cables, harnesses and complex assemblies), whole life support and development support. (In September, AWS also acquired Jantec Electronic Services Ltd, a small manufacturer and repairer based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.) The AWS Group’s turnover is now around £30M, so we can offer you correspondingly improved technical, operational and financial strength. The Group has ambitions to grow to a £50M company within three years, on the back of a well established and proven strategy.
