Press Release - Cemgraft achieves IPC-A-610 Class 3

Cemgraft only the third in world to Achieve Kitemark for assembly quality!

The one mark that tells the world that the highest possible level of assurance of a product quality is the BSI Kitemark - recognised as an ultimate sign of quality and safety.

When people say their product conforms to a certain standard, it is just the manufacturers claim. But for absolute certainty the product should be independently tested and verified. So BSI undertakes a most rigorous assessment of the manufacturers facilities, quality management systems and the product or service prior to issuing a Kitemark licence.

Following an intense two-day assessment Cemgraft Electronic Manufacturing of Newbury, Berkshire, became only the third company in the world to be licensed to display the Kitemark for the quality of its electronic assembly manufacturing. Cemgraft was assessed to IPC-A-610 Class 3 for the acceptability of component population and the solder assembly of printed circuit boards. This is the highest class of approval available.

Cemgraft have had a remarkable track record of growth and success as a Contract Electronics Manufacturer, since its conception five years ago. It is currently a £12 million volume manufacturer specialising in SMT technologies, BGA and micro BGA placement. Cemgraft offer a complete turnkey manufacturing service to a number of blue chip companies in industries including telecomm, aviation, instrumentation and data processing.

The Kitemark is owned and operated by BSI and all manufacturers must be licensed to use the Kitemark.
